What happens when you replace door glass?
Door glass is tempered, so a break-in or a hit usually leaves the window in pieces inside the door. We take the door panel off, clear out the broken glass, set the new window on the regulator, and run it up and down before the panel goes back on.
After a break-in
A smashed side window is the worst way to start a day. Tape plastic over the opening, take your valuables inside, and call us. We come to you, so you do not have to drive across town with an open window.
Glass gone from inside the door
Most of a broken door window ends up down inside the door. We clean it out so it does not rattle every time you hit a bump or jam the window later.
Tested before we leave
The window goes up and down, seals at the top, and the door panel goes back on tight.
